Managing a 55 Site Rebrand Rollout Across Three States

Detailed planning, mobilisation and reporting kept a complex live-site program moving over 24 months.

THE UNDERTAKING

Coordinated delivery across three states over a 24 month rollout program

The Chevron rebrand rollout was a large scale project management program delivered across 55 live fuel sites over a 24 month contract. Spanning three states and operating to a tight rolling schedule, the work demanded disciplined planning, clear communication and careful mobilisation from one site to the next.

This was not simply a signage install program. It was a coordinated rollout requiring each site to be planned, delivered, inspected and documented while remaining operational throughout the works. The success of the program depended on maintaining consistency, visibility and momentum across every location.

THE CHALLENGE

Each live fuel site was programmed on a three week rolling schedule

That meant all deliverables, installations, inspections and clean up needed to be completed within that timeframe while the broader rollout continued moving forward.

The complexity of the program extended well beyond the install itself. Stakeholders required daily reporting on site progress. Teams and large equipment had to be mobilised across metropolitan, regional and remote areas in three states. Access constraints, freight timing, shipping issues and revisits all had to be managed without interrupting the broader schedule.

Throughout the rollout, all work also needed to be completed to the highest WPCG safety standards, supported by thorough preplanning and post completion documentation.

WHAT WE DELIVERED

Coordination, planning, communication and execution

Brand Industry Services managed the rollout of 55 live site rebrands across three states over the life of the contract.

The program included:

  • mobilisation and scheduling across 55 live fuel sites
  • coordination of labour, equipment and installation activity across three states
  • planning and execution around live operating environments
  • inspections and clean up within each programmed site window
  • daily progress reporting to stakeholders
  • preplanning documentation and post completion reporting
  • management of revisits, freight timing and access issues without losing overall schedule control

HOW THE ROLLOUT WAS MANAGED

The strength of this project was in the planning behind it.

Every site required careful coordination before works began, with communication, logistics and on-site execution aligned to keep the three week rolling program moving.

Because some locations were remote, mobilisation involved more than sending a crew to site. It meant coordinating people, equipment and timing across long distances while maintaining consistency in delivery and reporting. In cases where further work was needed, or where revisits had to be scheduled due to freight or access constraints, those issues were absorbed into the program without compromising the overall rollout sequence.

Clear communication was central throughout. Daily reporting gave stakeholders better visibility of progress, while disciplined project oversight helped ensure each site moved through planning, delivery, inspection and closeout in a controlled and manageable way.

RECOGNITION

General contractor of the year

The success of the Chevron multisite rollout was recognised with Brand Industry Services being awarded General Contractor of the Year by Chevron. This acknowledgement reflected the consistency, care and project discipline required to deliver a complex live site program safely and effectively across the full contract period.

THE OUTCOME

Across 24 months, the rollout demonstrated our ability to manage complex multi-site rebrands

Clear communication, practical support and careful attention to detail meant that despite the scale of the project and the demands of live site conditions, the program maintained momentum across metro, regional and remote locations while giving stakeholders confidence in the process from start to finish.

This case study highlights the project management side of our business at its strongest: mobilisation, reporting, scheduling and delivery working together to support a consistent outcome across a large multisite rollout.
