Office Manager
One of Cindy’s first jobs was printing number plates, and at that point she probably had no idea that print would become the direction her career would eventually take.
With experience across small family run businesses and larger corporate environments, as well as different cultures and communities, Cindy found herself returning time and again to that central role: the person people turned to to make things happen. Whether helping keep things organised, supporting the people around her, or keeping day to day operations moving, she naturally became someone others relied on.
Her career included time in sales and marketing, but returning to print fed her creative side and felt like the right move.
After moving to Australia, Cindy joined Brand Industry Services in 2012 as part of the production team. Working on the floor gave her strong hands on knowledge of equipment, processes and product, along with a practical understanding of how the work comes together from start to finish. It was clear that moving into the Office Manager role was a natural fit, and the production experience she gained means nothing gets past her.
Returning to the close team environment of a small business suited Cindy well. She enjoys being part of a workplace where people work closely together, support each other and stay connected to the day to day. Today, she is one of the key people the team relies on behind the scenes, and also one of the key people visitors meet when they contact Brand Industry Services.
Cindy also loves seeing the finished result of the team’s work out in the real world. She enjoys getting out and about, visiting clients, taking photos and staying connected with the people and projects behind the work.
